My precious husband Paul passed away on 12th January 2005, he was my life we were soulmates from
when we met as teenagers. Paul was a wonderful husband and father to our son Gary. We had our first
grandchild Emma in Febraruary 2004 she lit up our lives and put the icing on the cake as we were
very happy and had waited for a long time to become grandparents. Emma was his pride and joy as
Gary had been from the day he was born. It hurts so much that he only had 11 months with Emma at a
time in our lives when we should have sat back and enjoyed watching our grandchildren grow he had to
leave us. In January 2006 we had a grandson James Paul who he didnt live to see. On the 13th May
this year we had another grandson William he would have loved the time with them to play football as
he did with Gary. Life is so unfair. He was a lovely man who would do anything for anyone, nothing
was too much trouble for him, he was very loving and affectionate and always had a smile on his
face. Paul made me feel special every day of my life and he also made me smile every day. Over
the 35 years we were together and up to 2/3 weeks before he died he would write me letters/love
notes, always telling me how happy he was and how much he loved me and Gary. He was always there
for me and Gary and doted on us both. Paul and I went everywhere together we loved each others
company, on the rare occasions we did go somewhere on our own we both couldnt wait to get home to be
together. My mum idolised Paul , they too were very close he was like a son he would do anything
for her and my family.
So Paul, I have to tell you something so there isnt any doubt you are so wonderful to think of but
so hard to live without. Missing you is a heartache that will never go away. Forgive me lord if I
ask why the thorns live on and the Roses die.
I Love and miss you so much it hurts
All my love
